Attending Live Classes

Live classes on Yuno allow you to interact with your instructors and peers in real time, just like an in-person classroom — but online.

Joining a Virtual (Online) Class

  1. Log in to your Yuno account.

  2. On the Home page, you’ll see a list of your Upcoming Classes.

    • For past classes and recordings, check the Past Classes tab.

  3. You’ll be notified as soon as a class is scheduled by your instructor.

  4. If your instructor has scheduled a class, it will appear here. You don’t need to "join" it in advance — only launch it when it’s time.

  5. On Yuno, all classes happen either on Zoom or Google Meet for online batches. Each academy chooses one platform for all their classes.

  6. When you see an upcoming online class, click the Launch button. This will open the virtual classroom software.

    • You don’t need to separately sign into Zoom or Google Meet — Yuno handles this automatically.

  7. You can attend classes from our mobile app as well.

Attending In-Person Classes

  • If the batch of your course is in-person (as decided by the academy owner, i.e., the course publisher), then all classes in that batch will also be in-person.

  • In this case, you won’t see a virtual classroom or a Launch Class option.

  • Instead, you’ll see the location of your in-person classroom, along with a Google Maps link for easy navigation.

  • The classroom details will include:

    • The location as seen on Google Maps.

    • Additional information such as the floor it’s on, seating capacity, and available facilities.

What You’ll Need

  • A stable internet connection (recommended: 5 Mbps or higher) for online classes.

  • A device with a microphone and, ideally, a camera for online participation.

  • Headphones or earbuds to minimize background noise during online classes.

During the Class (Online)

  • Mute your microphone when not speaking to reduce distractions.

  • Use the chat or raise hand features to ask questions.

  • Follow your instructor’s guidance on activities, breakout rooms, or screen sharing.

After the Class

  • Once the class is over, you’ll see it in your Past Classes.

  • For online batches, all classes are recorded, and you can access the recordings directly in Yuno.

Attendance

  • Online classes: Attendance is automatically recorded by the Yuno platform when you join the class.

  • In-person classes: Attendance is recorded manually by your instructor during the session.

Class Recordings (Online Batches Only)

  • Class recordings are automatically available once the session ends.

  • To access them, go to the Past Classes tab and click on the relevant class.

  • Recordings can be streamed directly on Yuno — no need to download.

  • You can watch them as many times as you like, which is especially useful for revision or if you missed the live session.

Tips for a Better Experience

  • Join online classes a few minutes early to check your audio and video settings.

  • Close unused apps or browser tabs to improve connection quality.

  • Keep course materials or notes handy for quick reference.

Troubleshooting (Online)

If you experience issues:

  • Refresh your browser or re-launch the class.

  • Check your device’s audio/video permissions.

  • Refer to the Troubleshooting & FAQs section for more help.
