Batches
Explore batches of a course or create and manage batches of your courses
Introduction
As an administrator, "Batches & Enrollments" lets you manage how a course is offered and who can join. A batchrepresents a specific instance of a course with its own schedule, instructor, and enrollment period. This section covers how to create, manage, and oversee batches and enrollments — whether you are enrolling your staff into an existing course or publishing and teaching your own.
1. Enrolling Learners into an Existing Batch
Administrators who wish to enroll their staff into a course can do so without creating a new batch.
On the course page, under the Availability section, you can:
View upcoming group batches.
Filter for Online or In-person batches.
Enroll your staff members directly in any of these batches.
Once enrolled, the academy owner and the instructor for that batch will be notified.
For 1-to-1 classes:
Select one of the instructors from the list.
Check their availability.
Reach out to them directly.
They will create a batch based on both your availability and theirs.
Steps for Enrolling in an Existing Batch:
Navigate to the Batches tab or the course’s Availability section.
Locate the course batch that fits your schedule and requirements.
Inform one of our counselors about the learners you want to enroll.
The counselor will complete the enrollment. Once enrolled, you’ll be able to track attendance and progress on your dashboard.
2. What’s a Batch?
A batch is an offering of a course tied to:
A specific schedule (e.g., Mon–Fri 3 PM, or Tue/Thu/Sat 9 AM)
An assigned instructor (each batch is assigned to a specific instructor)
A defined start and end date
Personalization format: either group-based or one-on-one
Teaching mode: online, in-person, or hybrid (both online and in-person)
Multiple batches can exist for the same course to cater to different schedules or learner needs
3. Teaching Mode
When creating a batch, you will see simple checkboxes for Online and In-person. A batch can be:
Online only (if only the Online box is checked)
In-person only (if only the In-person box is checked)
Hybrid (if both Online and In-person boxes are checked)
Whenever a batch is in-person (including hybrid), it requires a Place to be selected. A Place is essentially an address on Google Maps (see the separate article on Places & Classrooms).
Selecting a Place for a batch is important because:
It can be changed later only if no learners have been enrolled in the batch.
It enables location-based search for learners who are looking for nearby classes.
4. Creating a Batch
Administrators who wish to publish and teach a course need to create a batch. Before creating a batch, you must first set up your Academy and publish a course. Once the course is published, you can create a new batch for it.
Steps:
Log in as an Org Admin and navigate to the Courses menu.
Under the My Academy tab, you’ll see a list of your published courses. Select the course for which you want to create a batch, then click Create Batch.
Select the personalization: Group or 1-on-1, then proceed to the next steps.
Choose the teaching mode: Online, In-person, or Hybrid.
Fill in the form:
Batch Label (e.g., "Monday 9 PM")
Course selection
Instructor (assign a specific instructor to this batch)
Start Date (the End Date auto-populates)
Class days, duration, and time
Place (if In-person or Hybrid)
Submit to create the batch. If it’s a group batch (online or in-person), it will appear under the Availability section on the course page. If it’s a one-on-one batch, it will not appear publicly, as it is created specifically for a single learner.
5. Viewing and Managing Batches
As an academy owner, you’ll find a Batches menu option that allows you to search for specific batches. First, select the course, then optionally apply filters such as instructor, personalization, or teaching mode. All batches for the chosen course will be displayed, and you can narrow them further by date. Choosing a date will show only those batches available for enrollment on that day, since batches become unavailable as seats fill.
The batch list includes the following columns:
Course
Instructor
Start date
End date
Days/times of the batch
Personalization (Group vs. 1-on-1)
Teaching mode (Online, In-person, Hybrid)
Enrollable (with vacancies). Enrollable means that all conditions are met to enroll a learner in the batch, such as having a vacancy on a specific date, not being locked, and having sufficient days left in the batch for the learner to complete the course. Only enrollable batches are shown on the course page; however, in the Batches menu, you can uncheck this box to see all batches.
Locked (if manually locked). Even though a batch may be enrollable, you can lock it so that no further enrollments occur.
You can also view past batches in the Past Batches tab.

FAQs
Can I change the instructor of a batch after it’s created? No. Once a batch is created, the assigned instructor cannot be changed.
Can I change the Place of a batch after creation? Yes, but only if there are no active enrollments in the batch.
What happens if a batch is locked? When a batch is locked, no further enrollments are allowed, but existing learners remain unaffected.
Can learners switch from one batch to another? Yes. Administrators can manually transfer learners to another batch if needed.
What does “Enroll Offline” mean? This option allows administrators to record enrollments when payments are collected outside of Yuno’s payment interface.
What’s the difference between Enrollable and Locked batches? Enrollable batches have open seats and meet all other conditions for enrollment. Locked batches have been closed by the admin, even if seats are available, to stop any new enrollments in the batch.
Do one-on-one batches appear publicly? No. One-on-one batches are private and are only created for specific learners.
