Enrollments

Enrollments represent the link between a learner and a batch (of a course).

What are Enrollments?

When a learner is enrolled, they gain access to the course materials, assignments, and any batch activities (if applicable). Since a learner can enroll in multiple courses, one learner can have multiple enrollments. Each enrollment necessarily has a start and an end date.

How Enrollments Work

  • Self-enrollment by the learner: A learner can enroll himself into a course through the course page, following the steps (sign up, payment, etc.).

  • Enrollment by administrator or counselor: If you are the publisher of the course, as an administrator, you can enroll a learner. Also, a counselor at Yuno can enroll a learner.

Enrollment by Administrator

Administrators have two ways of enrolling learners:

Online Payment Enrollment

Each batch has a unique URL that links directly to its checkout page. An administrator can share this link with the learner, who can then complete the payment online and get enrolled instantly. This is the standard online payment process.

Offline Enrollment

Offline enrollment is used when an administrator collects payment outside of Yuno’s payment interface (e.g., cash, bank transfer, or an external gateway). To use this method:

  • The learner must already be in the organization’s Learners list.

  • The administrator uses Yuno’s offline enrollment interface to record the enrollment and associated payment details inside Yuno.

The offline enrollment interface allows administrators to store:

  • Enrollment price: The amount at which the course was sold.

  • Payment mode: Whether the learner paid in full or in installments (up to 3 installments are supported).

  • External payment gateway: Record which external gateway was used for the payment.

This ensures that even if payments are processed outside Yuno, the enrollment records remain complete and consistent within the platform.

Enrollment Insights

Navigate to Enrollments in the menu to view all enrollments in your organization. If you have an academy on Yuno and have published courses, you’ll also see the tab My Academy, which shows enrollments in your academy’s courses.

  • Enrollment Management: Track which learners are enrolled in which courses.

  • Status Tracking: Monitor enrollment statuses such as active, inactive, completed. Also track when an enrollment is ending, which batch the learner is enrolled in, and more.

  • Multiple Enrollments: A learner may be enrolled in multiple courses at the same time.

  • Enrollment Dates: Set start and end dates of the enrollment.

  • Payments: Payments, including installments, associated with enrollments.
